How to merge duplicate exercises

Ended up with the same movement twice — a custom "DB Bench" next to the library's Bench Press (Dumbbell), or two spellings of one exercise after an import? Merge the duplicate into the exercise you want to keep. Every set moves across with its weight, reps, and date, and your records and charts update to match.

Merge one exercise into another#

  1. Open the Exercises tab and open the custom exercise you want to get rid of.
  2. Tap the menu in the top-right corner and choose Merge Into Another Exercise.
  3. Pick the exercise that should keep the history — a library exercise or another custom one.
  4. Check What moves: the number of workouts, sets, and routines that will be re-filed.
  5. Tap Merge and keep Gript open until it finishes.
