How to generate a workout

No plan for today? Tell Gript what you want to train, how long you have, and what equipment is around, and it builds a session from your own training history — exercises you already do, weights you can actually lift, and supersets where they fit.

Where to find it#

Start an empty workout from the Workouts tab. Before you add any exercise, the empty workout shows a Generate Workout button with a sparkles icon — tap it. On a brand-new account the same option is listed next to Start Empty Workout and Import Workouts.

Describe the session#

The first time you open it, all four are pre-filled from your onboarding answers; after that Gript remembers what you picked last.

Tap Generate. Gript reads what you have logged — your most recent sets for each candidate exercise, the muscles you trained in the last seven days, and your progression on each lift — and builds the workout around it.

Review before you start#

The preview lists every exercise with its sets, rep range, and a suggested weight taken from your last performance on that movement. Paired exercises are marked as a superset, warm-up sets are included where the load calls for them, and a short Coach's note explains the intent of the session.

Tap Start Workout and the session opens as a normal workout: the suggested weights and reps are pre-filled, so you log it exactly like any other — and you can still add, remove, or reorder exercises on the way.

Free allowance and PRO#

Every account gets 3 free generations, and the first regenerate on a given set of settings is free as well. The counter under the Generate button shows how many you have left. Gript PRO removes the limit.
