Battle Ropes

Produce rapid alternating arm waves with an anchored rope to work the shoulder muscles and increase conditioning.

How to do the Battle Ropes#

  1. Secure the rope and grasp one end in each hand with a firm grip.
  2. Stand in an athletic stance with feet about hip-width and knees slightly bent.
  3. Keep your spine neutral and brace your core throughout the movement.
  4. Drive one hand upward as the opposite hand moves downward to create alternating waves at roughly shoulder height.
  5. Maintain a consistent, rhythmic tempo for the selected number of reps or duration.
