Stand facing away from an anchored resistance band and press the handles forward to full arm extension, primarily working the chest.

How to do the Band Chest Press#

  1. Anchor the band at chest height behind you and hold a handle in each hand.
  2. Step into a staggered stance with the band taut and your elbows bent at about shoulder height.
  3. Press the handles forward and slightly together until your arms are nearly straight, squeezing the chest.
  4. Return under control until your hands are back at chest level, keeping tension on the band.
