Climbing

Sustained upward or inclined locomotion performed to raise heart rate and build aerobic endurance; it develops cardiovascular fitness more than any single muscle group.

How to do the Climbing#

  1. Face the surface and establish secure hand and foot placements before beginning.
  2. Move deliberately, alternating limbs to keep a steady, sustainable pace.
  3. Use your legs for the main upward drive and let your arms assist with balance and control.
  4. Maintain even breathing and a consistent rhythm to keep effort aerobic.
  5. Descend or stop carefully and take a short recovery period when finished.
