Dip (Seated Machine)

Sit at the leverage dip machine and press the handles down by extending your elbows to work the triceps.

How to do the Dip (Seated Machine)#

  1. Adjust the seat height so the handles sit at about shoulder level and your feet are flat on the floor.
  2. Sit tall with a neutral spine and grip the handles with palms facing down.
  3. Drive the handles downward by straightening your elbows until your arms are almost fully extended.
  4. Control the return by bending the elbows until you feel tension in the triceps, keeping the movement slow and smooth.
  5. Maintain an upright torso and avoid jerking or bouncing between repetitions.
