High Plank

Hold a straight-arm push-up position with a rigid torso to work the core muscles isometrically.

How to do the High Plank#

  1. Get into a push-up position with your arms straight and hands under your shoulders.
  2. Extend your legs and align your body so it forms a straight line from head to heels.
  3. Engage your abdominal muscles and keep your hips level to prevent sagging or piking.
  4. Keep your neck neutral and gaze a few inches in front of your hands.
  5. Breathe steadily while holding the position for the planned duration.
