Pilates

Performs low-impact, controlled stretching and mobility movements that engage the whole body and support posture. Exercises proceed continuously for a set time with emphasis on deliberate, precise motion.

How to do the Pilates#

  1. Start in a supported, comfortable position (standing, seated, or lying) with a neutral spine and relaxed shoulders.
  2. Inhale to prepare, then exhale as you begin slow, controlled movements focusing on smooth transitions.
  3. Keep each motion deliberate and small enough to maintain alignment without straining.
  4. Maintain steady, even breathing throughout and avoid holding your breath.
  5. End by returning to stillness and taking a few calm breaths to reset.
