Perform a front-raise movement using suspension straps, lifting the arms forward to work the shoulder muscles. Maintain a stable, aligned body while moving the arms to shoulder height and back.
How to do the Front Raise (Suspension)#
- Stand facing away from the anchor and grip one handle in each hand with the straps taut.
- Step forward until there is tension in the straps and your body is in a straight, braced line.
- Keep a slight bend in your elbows and lift both hands straight forward until they reach shoulder height.
- Hold briefly at the top with your shoulders engaged and your torso stable.
- Slowly lower your hands back to the starting position under control.
Muscles worked#
