From a seated position, extend the elbows in a straight pressing motion to work the triceps.

How to do the Seated Triceps Press#

  1. Sit upright with your feet flat and a stable base beneath you.
  2. Begin with your elbows bent and your hands/readiness in place to press.
  3. Extend your arms by straightening the elbows until the pressing phase is complete.
  4. Lower your forearms under control back to the starting bent-elbow position while keeping your torso steady.
